Summary

PeopleSoft Administrator

Summary
Our client is seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Administrator to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the PeopleSoft environment by identifying requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring system performance that support core organizational functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and operational support for the PeopleSoft environment. 
  • Ensures optimal information systems performance and availability. 
  • Manages, maintains, and administers PeopleSoft System configuration management systems. 
  • Implements standardized systems builds and software deployment packages.
  • Performs Security configurations within the system in accordance with industry best practices and standards. 
  • Ensures technology configuration management and deployment systems operate efficiently.
  • Provides prompt customer service support issue resolution and preventative problem determination.
  • Performs configuration of servers, storage, and related systems components. 
  • Coordinates installation of equipment at data center and remote locations. 
  • Configures information systems within company standards and ensures all monitoring and management components are in place.
  • Works with internal customers and IT service providers to develop and recommend hardware/software solutions for short-range problems, and to support long range technology planning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience performing day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and operational support for an On-Prem PeopleSoft environment. 
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting medium to large-scale, multi-site, enterprise environments.
  • Current experience supporting an On-Prem PeopleSoft environment.
  • Current experience with HCM/NA Payroll module.
  • Ability to conduct research to resolve systems issues and to develop courses of action for problem resolution.
  • PeopleSoft HCM development experience including programming and system enhancements.
