Salary range
$111,500.00 - $176,500.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $139,000.00- $208,000.00/ annually

What you'll do

The day-to-day
- Design, develop, and integrate software in C/C++
- Work with Linux-based environments (embedded, server, and cloud)
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop drivers for FPGA-based platforms
- Contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Debug and resolve complex integration issues
- Participate in design reviews and documentation
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in C/C++ software development
- Experience with Linux OS in embedded or server environments
- Familiarity with cross-compilers and build systems (e.g., Make, Yocto)
- Hands-on experience with Git or similar version control tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

What will help you on the job
- Experience with Linux kernel driver development or BSP (e.g., u-boot)
- Exposure to FPGA-based architectures
- Familiarity with web-based UI development (JavaScript, HTML)
- Experience with Python for scripting and automation
- Knowledge of Docker containers
- Familiarity with development on cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Understanding of digital communications concepts
- Interest in leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for productivity
