Edifecs/EDI Developer

Role: Lead EDIFECS Developer
Location: REMOTE
Duration: Long-term

Roles and responsibilities:

Lead development and configuration of EDIFECS modules: SpecBuilder, XEngine, Transaction Manager, and Encounter Management, ENR and ST
Design and maintain maps, profiles, and guidelines for EDI transactions (834, 837, 835, 820).
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to Agile practices and quality standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot EDIFECS transmissions and error correction workflows.
Configure severity files and validation rules for custom error handling.
Support production environments and coordinate with QA and infrastructure teams.Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of hands-on experience with EDIFECS tools and healthcare EDI transactions.
Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards (X12, HIPAA).
Proficiency in Groovy, JavaScript, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Experience with EDIFECS modules: SpecBuilder, XEngine, XEServer, Transaction Manager, EAM.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
