Job Title: Epic Certified HB / PB Claims Analyst

ABOUT THIS ROLE / TEAM POSITION
Medix Technology is hiring an Epic HB / PB Claims Analyst to help support one of our major Health System clients during an Epic Implementation.
This role will be working remotely to take on support tickets and resolve workflow issues across Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and Professional Billing modules. Some experience with both HB and PB is required,, with a current Epic Certification in either HB or PB required. Additionally, familiar with Revenue Guardian is a huge plus

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working remotely to take support tickets for Epic's Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) modules.
- Troubleshooting the claims processing and billing components of the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing system to ensure accurate and timely healthcare reimbursements
- Working with Revenue Guardian to catch missing or unbilled charges before claims are submitted
- Managing electronic claim creation, charge router logic, remittance processing, and billing work-queues.
- Support & Troubleshooting, resolving incident tickets, fixing claim edit errors, and addressing clearinghouse or government payer rejections.
- Partnering with revenue cycle teams to optimize workflows, reduce claim denials, increase clean claim rates, and accelerate reimbursements.
- Assisting with product testing & upgrades. Supporting system testing, and applying required build updates during upgrade cycles.
- Collaborating and acting as a technical liaison between IT, billing operations, compliance auditors, and Epic representatives.
REQURED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a current Epic Hospital Billing (HB) or Professional Billing (PB) Certification
- Seeking someone who has professional experience in both HB and PB (heavier in one > the other is acceptable)
- Experience with Revenue guardian
