Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications and integration solutions using Java and related technologies.
- Develop and support EDI interfaces, web services, and data exchange solutions to facilitate system integration.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to analyze requirements, estimate work, perform code reviews, and deliver high-quality software.
- Troubleshoot application issues, implement defect fixes, maintain technical documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development, EDI integration, and enterprise software development.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
Java, J2EE, EDI, Oracle WebLogic Server, XML, SOAP, REST APIs, SQL
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Application Development, System Integration, Agile Methodology, Software Testing, Code Review, Technical Documentation
|
|
Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
|
|
Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

|
Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise integration frameworks and messaging technologies.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, CI/CD practices, and automated testing.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
