We are looking for Oracle DBA for our client in Alpharetta, GA

Job Title: Oracle DBA

Job Location: Alpharetta, GA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Database software (11g 19c).
Design, implement, and maintain high availability solutions including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
Perform performance tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM, and SQL optimization techniques to resolve bottlenecks.
Develop, implement, and test RMAN backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
Implement database security measures including patching, encryption, and user access management.
Monitor database performance, storage utilization, and capacity planning requirements.
Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical production issues.
Mentor junior DBA team members and provide technical guidance.

Skills:

Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
Proficiency in database performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python for automation.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS RDS for Oracle.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
7 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise-level environments.
