Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Microsoft PowerApps Developer / Lead Developer to design, develop, and lead the implementation of enterprise applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience along with leadership capabilities to guide teams and deliver scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps)
Automate business processes and workflows using Power Automate
Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI
Build and deploy intelligent chatbots using Power Virtual Agents
Lead development efforts and provide technical guidance to junior developers
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams, and third-party systems
Utilize Microsoft Dataverse for secure and scalable data storage and management
Ensure best practices in coding standards, security, performance, and governance
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and workflows
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and solution architecture alignment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
12+ years of IT experience with strong focus on Microsoft technologies
Hands-on expertise in:
Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps)
Power Automate (Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows)
Power BI (Data Modeling, DAX, Reporting)
Power Virtual Agents
Strong experience with Microsoft Dataverse and data modeling
Experience integrating with:
Microsoft Azure services
Dynamics 365
Microsoft Teams
REST APIs / third-party applications
Proficiency in JavaScript, Power Fx, and custom connectors
Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security, and environment strategy
Experience in leading development teams and handling end-to-end delivery
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Power Platform certifications
Experience working with government/public sector clients (NYC Agency preferred)
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and ALM in Power Platform
Additional Requirements:
Must be local to Brooklyn, NY
Available for immediate joining
