We're seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist with deep expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, directory services, and cybersecurity.
HM's Top Needs:
1. Hands on experience in Directory Services (architecture, design, deployment of DCs, DNS, GPOs etc.)
2. Experience with scripting (Powershell etc.) and automation
3. Experience with all directory services (on-prem and cloud) operations and support as needed (including on-call)
Strong PowerShell scripting, automation and operational tooling
Experience supporting on-prem and cloud directory services, including on-call support
Strong understanding of LDAP/LDAPS, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth and OIDC
Troubleshooting complex authentication, identity and directory synchronization issues
Active Directory security, privileged access controls, certificate management and identity security best practices
Responsibilities:
Administer and manage Active Directory and Entra ID environments and security-focused GPOs
Ensure availability, capacity and performance of IAM technologies, including logging, monitoring and alerting
Manage access controls, user permissions and role-based access
Plan and execute upgrades, patching and directory services projects
Develop automation and improve operational efficiency using PowerShell and other scripting tools
Provide 2nd/3rd-level support, on-call support and root-cause analysis for directory and authentication issues
Integrate directory services with enterprise applications and systems
Ensure directory services comply with cybersecurity policies, standards and best practices
Collaborate with IT teams, SMEs, offshore teams and vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions
Stay current on emerging cybersecurity, IAM and cloud technologies
Cybersecurity Expertise:
Experience with security architecture, vulnerability and risk assessments, cyber defense operations, threat intelligence, forensics, penetration testing, incident detection/mitigation and protecting networks, applications, cloud environments and data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
7+ years required; 10+ years of IT Security/IAM experience strongly preferred
