MMIS Data $ Analytics Reporting Lead

We are seeking to hire a MMIS (Medicaid) Data and Analytics Reporting Lead with expertise in Medicaid Provider and Pharmacy implementations, to join our teams working on a new multi-year awards we have within several State Gov’t clients, modernizing their Medicare/Medicaid systems.  These roles are 100% remote.

Being a US Cit is required for working on this program.

This position pays a strong salary package with full benefits (including choice of healthcare plans, dental, vision, life insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and a matching 401k).

An option for working on an hourly rate is also available for those not needing a full benefits package.

Position Overview

The Data & Analytics Reporting Lead will lead reporting delivery for Medicaid Management

Information Systems (MMIS), Provider, Pharmacy and related Data & Analytics initiatives

for State and Local Government clients. This role is responsible for driving high-quality

reporting outcomes, guiding reporting analysts and developers, partnering with business

and technical stakeholders, and ensuring reporting solutions support Medicaid operational,

compliance, and client reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead MMIS Data & Analytics reporting delivery, including operational, financial, claims, encounter, payer, provider, and compliance reporting.

·        Oversee Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) activities for reporting solutions across public sector healthcare clients.

·        Demonstrate Medicaid domain knowledge across MITA areas, MMIS reporting, provider data, claims, encounters, payer, and financial reporting.

·        Collaborate with peers, senior managers, deputies, business stakeholders, and technical leads to drive integrated reporting and data initiatives.

·        Guide data analysts, reporting configuration analysts, and developers to deliver client-aligned reporting outcomes.

·        Partner with business analysts and technical teams to define reporting requirements, prioritize work, validate outputs, and resolve delivery issues.

·        Mentor and develop team members, fostering continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.

·        Ensure reporting solutions comply with relevant data governance, privacy, security, and quality standards.

·        Represent the MMIS Reporting function in leadership discussions, client meetings, and cross-functional initiatives.

·        Support scope, change requests, pricing, estimation, and delivery planning for reporting engagements.

Qualifications (Required Skills)

·        Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

·        5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or data management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

·        3+ years of management consulting experience in Medicaid State & Local Government or commercial payer environments.

·        Experience with Medicaid provider data, provider enrollment, provider demographics, provider networks, or provider-related reporting.

·        Proven experience managing teams in a complex, matrixed organization.

·        Strong knowledge of enterprise reporting tools, data warehousing, and business intelligence platforms.

·        Strong technical acumen, including the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and work with development teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

·        3+ years of experience working with core MMIS or health plan transaction processing platforms such as QNXT or FACETS.

·        Advanced skills in SQL, data visualization, and reporting automation.

·        Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.

·        Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Preferred Skills

·        Experience in healthcare, insurance, Medicaid, or regulated industries.

·        Familiarity with Provider, Pharmacy, Enterprise Data Warehouse, and related reporting domains.

·        Experience working with offshore and onsite resource pools is a plus.
