Summary

Ignition Engineer

Remote 

Develop the SPC application in Ignition (Perspective and/or Vision), including charts, rules, and alerting

• Integrate equipment and measurement devices via OPC-UA, PLC, and gauge/CMM interfaces

• Connect Ignition to databases and historians for storing and retrieving measurement data

• Build reusable components: templates, UDTs, scripts, and configuration-driven screens

• Define deployment standards and packaging so new sites onboard with minimal effort

• Gather requirements from shop-floor users and quality engineers; iterate on usability

• Complete the POC and document the path to enterprise scale

Preferred

• Ignition certification (Core, Gold, or Perspective)

• Multi-site Ignition architecture experience

• Manufacturing quality systems background

Success measures: POC completed on schedule; reusable components, configuration, and deployment standards in place; reduced effort to onboard additional sites.
