OverviewAt Lutron, Information Technology Specialists help power the technology behind the world's leading smart lighting and shading systems. You'll join a cross-functional team solving real business challenges during a structured 24-month rotation across application development, security, infrastructure, and business analytics, that will help you build a uniquely broad foundation in your early career.
You'll be mentored by industry experts from day one, with room to grow into deep technical specialization or management, with paths into cybersecurity, infrastructure, digital workplace, and beyond.
You'll drive real projects, improve processes, and deliver solutions that directly support how Lutron operates globally, all while developing your skills across multiple information technology disciplines in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
There are a variety of technologies and concepts within this role that you could encounter from day one, such as:
- Utilize your knowledge of computer systems, cybersecurity, data analytics, programming language, and networking to creatively solve technical problems
- Undergo a 24-month rotation through IT areas covering application development, security, infrastructure, business analytics, etc.
- Understand how various IT teams work together and with the business to accomplish project goals
Responsibilities- Work with the Technology Lead on the various platforms to drive convergence and execute implementation
- Manage and prioritize all phases of multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality
- Develop and improve your skills in multiple IT disciplines
- Devise and implement new IT processes for continuous improvement
- Deliver IT solutions with a hands-on attitude and a strong work ethic
- Collaborate with team members using strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent degree in the IT field
- 0-3 years' experience in a related field
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
- You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
- Willing and available to work on-site 5 days per week
- Willingness to travel up to 10 - 20% of the time for inter-office collaboration
