Vaco is partnering with a growing power systems services organization to hire an IT & Integrations Specialist supporting internal systems, integrations, and day-to-day IT operations. This role sits within a small but collaborative IT team and works closely with the Integrations Manager and engineering staff to ensure systems communicate effectively and remain secure, stable, and well documented.
The environment is collaborative and independent. Leadership emphasizes ownership and trust rather than micromanagement, and the team is looking for someone who can step in, solve problems, and contribute quickly. The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site visits to the Chantilly, Virginia office as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design and support integrations between internal systems and cloud platforms
Assist with Microsoft 365 administration including user access, data management, and cloud storage environments such as SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Support system migration and integration projects, including Microsoft 365 tenant migrations and related tooling
Troubleshoot PC and network hardware issues including setup, configuration, and maintenance
Perform system integration testing and interface validation to ensure reliable data exchange between systems
Create and maintain documentation for integrations, system configurations, and operational processes
Develop technical documentation, training materials, and internal policy guides
Provide technical support and guidance to internal users across departments
Assist with firewall configuration support, onboarding processes, and system configuration tasks
Conduct system audits and monitor integrations to ensure stability, data integrity, and security compliance
Required Experience
3 or more years of experience in IT support, system integration, or related technical roles
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Experience supporting system migrations or integration environments
Strong troubleshooting skills across PC hardware, networking, and software systems
Ability to write clear and organized technical documentation and process guides
Experience supporting cross-functional users and resolving technical issues in business environments
Associate’s degree in Network Administration, Computer Programming, or related field
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant migrations or integration tooling such as BitTitan or AvePoint
Exposure to Google Workspace integrations
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and security controls
Basic image or video editing experience for training materials
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 annually
