• Support network discovery, assessment, and dependency analysis as part of the Data Center Exit program.
• Analyze existing on premise network and firewall configurations to determine cloud migration readiness.
• Support design and implementation of AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.
• Implement and manage Palo Alto firewall rules, security policies, and traffic inspection during migration.
• Support hybrid connectivity using VPN and/or Direct Connect during phased application migrations.
• Ensure secure and reliable network connectivity for applications, databases, and TIBCO ESB integrations.
• Troubleshoot network and firewall issues during migration, cutover, and hypercare phases.
• Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with network security and enterprise standards.
• Prepare network diagrams, firewall rule documentation, runbooks, and operational handover materials.
Cloud Experience Needed
• Hands-on experience supporting data center migration projects from on premise environments to public cloud platforms.
• Working knowledge of AWS networking services including VPC, subnets, route tables, and security groups.
• Experience supporting EC2 based application networking in AWS environments.
• Experience integrating and operating Palo Alto firewalls in cloud or hybrid network architectures.
• Understanding of network connectivity requirements for Oracle Exadata on AWS and SQL Server workloads.
• Experience supporting middleware and integration traffic flows in cloud environments.
• Ability to support hybrid and transitional network states during phased migration waves.
• Experience collaborating with cloud architects, network leads, and security teams during AWS migrations.
• Prior experience as a Network SME in large scale Data Center Exit or cloud migration programs is highly preferred.
• Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise networking across on premise data centers and cloud environments.
• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, load balancers, DNS, and enterprise network security concepts.
• Strong experience with firewall technologies, specifically Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security policies.
• Experience supporting network requirements for Java, .NET applications and backend databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Good understanding of middleware and integration traffic patterns, especially applications using TIBCO ESB.
• Experience working with Windows Server 2016–2025 and Linux platforms including RHEL 7, 8, and 9.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills for network connectivity, latency, throughput, and packet level issues.
• Ability to analyze network dependencies, risks, and impacts during data center migration initiatives.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with application, cloud, security, and project management teams.
