Job Summary: QA Tester – Oracle Fusion Financials & EPM
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester with hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting QA activities to ensure the quality and integrity of Oracle Fusion and EPM implementations and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
Review and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents for Oracle Fusion Financials and EPM modules.Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and/or automated).Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing for Oracle Financials modules such as:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management
- Procurement- Order Management- Inventory- Projects- Contracts Conduct testing for Oracle EPM components such as:
- Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS)
- Financial Consolidation and Close
- Profitability and Cost Management Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA.
Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business users to resolve defects and validate fixes.
Validate data migration, financial reports, integrations (e.g., with third-party systems), and security configurations.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives if part of an Agile team.
Ensure testing is completed on time and meets quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.4+ years of QA/testing experience, with at least 3+ years focused on Oracle Fusion Financials and/or EPM.
Strong understanding of financial processes and terminologies.
Experience with Oracle Cloud environments and upgrades.
Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, OATS, Oracle Test Manager) is a plus.
Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or similar.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Studio.
- Basic SQL skills for data validation.
- Understanding of SOX compliance and audit processes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- ISTQB or similar certification
