Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a User Experience Designer to support a team that builds and maintains a portfolio of over 15 interconnected web applications. These applications are crucial for robotic systems planning, supply chain operations, and operational reporting. The current strategic priority is platform unification, which involves standardizing data and UI across all applications and ensuring seamless integrations. This role is essential for creating a consistent, unified user experience across the entire application suite for a rapidly growing user base.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive standardized navigation, consistent UI patterns, and unified interaction models across all applications in the portfolio.
- Design seamless user experiences for integrations between internal tools and enterprise systems.
- Design interfaces that allow user flexibility while ensuring data is validated before reaching downstream systems.
- Conduct customer interviews, usability studies, and contextual inquiries to gather requirements and validate design decisions.
- Translate complex technical requirements into clear design narratives for business stakeholders and present findings to leadership.
- Support the onboarding of new user groups to existing tools with intuitive flows that minimize training overhead.
- Establish and maintain a unified design system to ensure visual and interaction consistency.
- Partner with engineering to improve customer satisfaction scores and performance monitoring metrics.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $40.00 and $50.00 per hour. This position is eligible for benefits, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
