Role Overview

Touch Bistro Inc is seeking a Senior Zuora Revenue Data Remediation Specialist to lead the analysis, correction, and restoration of historical financial data within the Zuora Revenue platform. This role is pivotal in re-establishing automated revenue recognition, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and achieving audit readiness following a complex business transition from Invoice Item Adjustments (IIAs) to Credit Memos.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Zuora Revenue data architecture and a proven ability to execute large-scale data remediation initiatives in highly regulated financial environments.

Required Skills & Experience

Deep, hands-on expertise in Zuora Revenue data models, schemas, and underlying structures (beyond Zuora Billing).

Proven experience executing large-scale data remediation efforts (100K+ records), including reversals, rebuilds, and corrections within Zuora Revenue.

Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, contract accounting, and financial data integrity.

Demonstrated ability to reconstruct, realign, and validate contract balances, revenue schedules, and adjustments.

Experience working directly with Zuora documentation and Zuora Support to resolve complex system and data issues.

Advanced SQL Server skills for data analysis, discovery, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.

Ability to estimate project scope, timelines, risks, and effort for complex data remediation initiatives.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to clearly document remediation approaches and outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience with other revenue recognition or ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite.

Familiarity with automation of financial reconciliation and reporting processes.

Prior involvement in audit readiness activities and support for internal or external audits.

Experience leading or supporting data migration projects involving Zuora Revenue or similar platforms.

Knowledge of financial data governance, compliance standards, and best practices.

Ability to train, guide, or mentor internal teams on Zuora Revenue data processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and remediate fragmented, inconsistent, or incomplete historical data within Zuora Revenue.

Reconstruct and realign contract balances, revenue schedules, and adjustments to establish a clean and reliable baseline.

Validate and reconcile remediated data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.

Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and Zuora Support teams to drive successful remediation outcomes.

Document all findings, methodologies, remediation steps, and results for compliance, audit, and future reference.
