This opportunity is focused on bridge inspections and structural evaluations, with an emphasis on technical leadership, field execution, and the delivery of high-quality inspection work.

Job Details
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant professional experience in bridge engineering and bridge inspections.
  • Active PE or SE license.
  • Experience leading bridge inspection teams or serving in a senior technical role.
  • Knowledge of bridge inspection procedures, structural evaluation, and condition documentation.
  • Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform field inspections and travel to bridge sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Illinois bridge inspection team leader designation or applicable qualifications.
  • Experience with IDOT bridge inspection projects and procedures.
  • Familiarity with NBIS requirements and FHWA bridge inspection standards.
  • Experience with bridge load ratings, structural analysis, and rehabilitation recommendations.
  • Experience managing inspection teams, project schedules, and client deliverables.
