Summary
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL, and REST integrations while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.
- Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
- Build interactive reports, dashboards, forms, interactive grids, charts, and faceted search pages.
- Develop RESTful API integrations using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
- Customize UI using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Dynamic Actions.
- Optimize database performance through SQL tuning and query optimization.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
- Integrate Oracle APEX applications with Oracle Cloud, Fusion Applications, or third-party systems.
- Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
- Create technical documentation and support UAT activities.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Oracle Application Express (APEX) development experience.
- Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
- Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c.
- Hands-on experience with ORDS and REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Forms, Charts, and Dashboards.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of Oracle security, authentication, authorization, and session management.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
- Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher.
- Experience with OAuth2, SSO, and Identity Management.
- Familiarity with Redwood UI and responsive application development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Oracle APEX Certification is preferred.
