NOC Technician (Satellite Operations)
We have an immediate need for a NOC Technician with our client in Northwestern VA (outer DC area) area. This position will monitor, configure, troubleshoot, and manage satellite, voice, and data networks; provide operational support for satellite systems, including hub station monitoring and reporting; and administer and maintain Earth Station equipment, remote access servers, and client systems. In addition, the NOC Technician will perform software updates, patching, and system maintenance.
Among other skills and experience, hands-on experience with satellite communications systems is required. Must have strong troubleshooting and network monitoring skills, an ability to work in a 24/7 NOC environment, including weekends and after-hours, is mandatory.
This requires an active DOD top secret clearance and it is 100% on-site in Northwestern VA (outer DC area).
