Position Announcement: Business Analyst - Advanced
 
We are seeking a Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Analyst – Advanced to join an Agile technology team delivering mission-critical public sector applications. This dual-capability role blends business analysis with end-to-end software quality assurance.
 

Key Details

  • Location: Columbia, SC (Must be an SC resident or willing to relocate prior to start)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite/week; 5 days onsite for initial onboarding)
  • Interview Process: 2 Rounds (1st Round Virtual, 2nd Round Onsite)

Core Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis: Gather/refine business requirements, write user stories, map workflows, and bridge communications between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Design and execute test plans/scripts, perform integration/regression testing, track defects, and review SQL/logs for root-cause analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ Years: Business Process Analysis & Requirements Documentation
  • 5+ Years: Software QA & Testing (Test Design, Execution, Defect Tracking)
  • 7+ Years: Customized Test Procedure & Analysis
  • Core Tools: TFS, Visual Studio, SQL Server, MS Project, Balsamiq, MS Office
  • Domain Experience: Public sector experience (State, Federal, or Local Government)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SNAP/TANF Economic Services or Early Child Care programs
  • Hands-on test automation & enterprise system integrations
