Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant with deep expertise in SAP BASIS and large-scale transformation programs. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end migration initiatives to SAP S/4HANA under RISE with SAP, driving strategy, execution, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end migration to S/4HANA under RISE framework
- Define and execute BASIS migration strategy including:
- Planning, downtime optimization, and cutover strategy
- Act as primary technical liaison between SAP RISE teams and client stakeholders
- Lead all SAP BASIS activities:
- System conversion, upgrades, and post-migration stabilization
- Execute and manage:
- SUM/DMO migrations
- System landscape transformation
- Oversee tenant copy and system refresh activities
- Ensure performance, security, and stability post migration
- Provide leadership and mentorship to BASIS and technical teams
Must-Have Skills
- 15+ years of SAP BASIS experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP HANA Administration
- Proven experience in RISE with SAP migrations
- Expertise in:
- SUM (Software Update Manager)
- DMO (Database Migration Option)
- Experience in SAP system/data center migration
- Strong understanding of full project lifecycle (planning execution stabilization)
- Experience with tenant copy and system refresh strategies
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with System Transition Workbench (STWB) methodology
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) in SAP context
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Experience in large enterprise transformation programs
