Applications Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Applications Architect in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Applications Architect will work closely with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements
* Translate requirements into conceptual designs incorporating software and system architecture principles
* Stay informed on emerging technologies, standards, and trends, and apply them to deliver innovative architectural solutions
* Oversee the application design process throughout the software development life cycle
* As an Applications Architect, you will develop comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, deployment plans, and environment details
* Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 10+ years of programming and architecture experience
* Experience with healthcare IT, messaging standards (CCD/CCDA, CDR, XDR), and middleware (Rhapsody, Mirth, WebSphere, MQ)
* Expertise in Java/J2EE frameworks (Spring, Hibernate), .NET, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Python, Node.js
* Knowledge of asynchronous programming, SOA, and version control tools (GitHub, SVN)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Skilled in full-stack development and big data technologies (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
* Proficient in hands-on programming and API development (RESTful, SOAP)
* Ability to maintain code standards, test, and deploy applications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
