Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Engineer I to support engineering activities across utility-scale solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and power plant operations. This role involves working on engineering analysis, project coordination, and technical support functions while ensuring compliance with design, safety, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering analysis and support projects of varying scope and complexity
  • Assist with project planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution
  • Support engineering design reviews to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering calculations
  • Assist with cost estimates, construction documentation, and project reporting
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and maintenance
  • Support onboarding of new sites (technical and administrative activities)
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze data and provide technical insights and recommendations
  • Support performance tracking and reporting for renewable energy assets

Specialized Engineering Areas (Based on Requirement)

Electrical / I&C Engineering:

  • Power systems, electric distribution, ladder logic
  • Safe shutdown analysis
  • Tools: ETAP, EDISON

Mechanical Engineering:

  • Pumps, valves, heat exchangers
  • Pipe stress analysis, ASME standards

Civil / Structural Engineering:

  • Site grading, drainage systems, foundations
  • Seismic qualification, pipe supports, rigging, welding
  • Tools: GT Strudel

MOV Valve Engineering:

  • Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and valve program management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related)
  • 0 5 years of experience in engineering analysis or project support
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and industry standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (Solar, BESS)
  • Familiarity with controls systems and alarm management
  • Understanding of quality methodologies (Six Sigma)
  • Exposure to engineering tools such as ETAP, EDISON, or GT Strudel
