The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking an Enterprise Data Integration Analyst to collect business data from multiple resources to analyze HHS performance.
As an Enterprise Data Integration Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, integrating, and analyzing data from across HHS to develop meaningful performance metrics that track progress and evaluate performance. You will ensure these metrics are accurate, complete, and representative of the resources being used, the work being performed, and the outcomes achieved are in alignment with state values. This involves identifying the appropriate data to measure, maintaining data accuracy and consistency, and providing up-to-date reports to help leadership make informed decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
In this role, you will collaborate with teams across HHS departments to understand how data is structured, connected, transferred, and utilized across multiple systems. You will assess data structures, formats, workflows, and integration pipelines to map out data and troubleshoot integration errors to ensure the accurate and reliable exchange of information. Through ongoing monitoring, you will help maintain data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across systems, ensuring reliable data flows successfully.
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong interest in data analysis, systems integration, and process improvement. You should be motivated by the opportunity to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability of workforce systems through proper workflows and processes. Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to data governance and quality are essential, particularly when identifying and resolving issues involving missing, duplicated, inconsistent, or mismatched data across systems.
To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field along with a minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience doing data analytics and data integration. Recognized data certification like a CDMP preferred.
