Position Title User Migration Project Manager

A large enterprise organization is seeking a User Migration Project Manager to support technology migration initiatives with a strong focus on user communication, coordination, and support. The ideal candidate will manage the user-facing side of migrations, ensuring users understand timelines, complete required actions, and have access to the appropriate resources throughout the migration lifecycle.
This role works closely with technical teams while serving as a primary point of contact for non-technical users.
Daily Responsibilities
Communicate migration plans, timelines, and expectations to the user community
Create and maintain migration documentation, including:
User communication decks
Migration roadmaps
Timeline and task trackers
Track user tasks, ownership, and deadlines; follow up to ensure completion
Host and participate in user office hours to provide migration assistance and answer questions
Assist users in obtaining help from appropriate technical or support resources
Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical users
Monitor migration progress and identify risks, issues, or user readiness concerns
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on user migration activities
Required Qualifications
8-10 years of Project Management experience supporting cross-functional initiatives
8-10 years of Experience supporting technology or system migrations (user migrations strongly preferred)
Education: Bachelor s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to manage and track:
Tasks
Timelines
Ownership and follow-ups
8-10 years of Experience working directly with end users in a support or coordination role
Ability to facilitate discussions and problem-solving between technical and non-technical teams
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
User-focused mindset with strong customer service orientation
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accountability
Comfortable leading meetings, office hours, and user-facing sessions
