Java Full Stack Developer (Spring Boot / Angular)

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for a 30-month engagement with a New York State agency in Albany, NY. The developer will research, design, program, test, and implement enterprise web applications, using Spring Boot and Java EE on the backend, Angular and TypeScript on the frontend, and Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: research, design, programming, testing, and implementation
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Java EE (Servlets, JPA)
• Design, build, and deploy Single Page Applications with Angular and TypeScript
• Apply component-based architecture, dynamic rendering, and asynchronous programming
• Design and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
• Manage source code with Git using established branching strategies

Required Qualifications

• 84 months of experience in all facets of the software development process: research, design, programming, testing, and implementation
• 84 months of experience with Java frameworks and technologies: Spring Boot and Java EE (Servlets, JPA, etc.)
• 84 months of experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL relational databases
• 60 months of experience designing, implementing, and deploying Single Page Applications using Angular and TypeScript
• 60 months of experience with SPA fundamentals: component-based architecture, dynamic rendering, and asynchronous programming
• 60 months of experience with Git version control operations and branching strategies
