Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong Pharmacy domain experience to lead and manage technology and business projects for a confidential pharmacy/healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing pharmacy-related initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering projects within scope, timeline, and budget.

Pharmacy experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery for pharmacy-related initiatives.
Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and delivery schedules.
Manage cross-functional teams including business, pharmacy operations, technology, vendors, and stakeholders.
Work closely with pharmacy business teams to understand requirements, workflows, and operational processes.
Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications.
Track project progress and provide regular status reports to leadership.
Coordinate requirements gathering, business analysis, testing, implementation, and production rollout activities.
Ensure projects meet quality, compliance, timeline, and budget expectations.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Manage vendor and third-party relationships when applicable.
Support process improvements and technology initiatives within pharmacy operations.
Ensure effective communication between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience as a Project Manager within the Pharmacy / Healthcare domain.
Hands-on understanding of pharmacy operations, workflows, or pharmacy-related technology.
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience with project planning, risk management, issue tracking, and status reporting.
Experience working with business and technical teams in a healthcare/pharmacy environment.
Strong documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Healthcare, Pharmacy, PBM, Retail Pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical industry experience.
Experience with pharmacy management systems, claims, prescription processing, medication management, or pharmacy operations.
Experience managing large-scale healthcare technology implementations.
