Senior Business Analyst – Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Contract Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) to join a Global Information Security organization focused on enterprise-wide security and identity services.
This role supports a large-scale IAM ecosystem used across multiple business units, serving employees, contractors, and external partners. The environment spans diverse enterprise domains including media, entertainment, digital platforms, and corporate functions.
The mission of the IAM team is to deliver modern identity and access management capabilities that are secure, seamless, and scalable—ensuring protection of organizational data, systems, and digital assets while enabling a frictionless user experience.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise application programs
- Strong expertise in structured requirements documentation, including:
- User stories
- Use cases
- Acceptance criteria
- Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM)
- Experience facilitating workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with requirements and backlog management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent
- Background in cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management (IAM), or identity governance
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Familiarity with BPMN or other process modeling tools
- Exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Secrets Management, or related identity security domains
- Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements for IAM platforms and services
- Develop and maintain detailed requirements artifacts including user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product Owners and Engineering teams
- Facilitate structured workshops and stakeholder interviews across business, IT, security, and compliance teams
- Maintain and manage Requirements Traceability Matrices to ensure alignment between business needs and delivered solutions
- Support Agile delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and refinement sessions
- Analyze current-state identity and access processes and identify gaps relative to target-state IAM capabilities
- Create and maintain process flows, data flow diagrams, and integration specifications to support technical design and implementation
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario creation, participant coordination, and results documentation
- Mentor junior business analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of BA standards, templates, and best practices
