Description
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Monroe, Wisconsin. This is a Contract to permanent position where you will play a key role in enhancing our cloud infrastructure and supporting development processes. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about enabling self-service capabilities for development teams.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cloud engineering and development teams to design and deploy pipelines using Terraform.
Assist developers in creating automated solutions and self-service modules for streamlined deployment.
Build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using Azure DevOps, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
Support the transition from legacy systems to modern platforms, including replacing virtual machines with Nutanix.
Train and mentor team members on DevOps best practices and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Optimize nightly processing systems to improve business workflows.
Work closely with network, storage, security, and server teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps solutions.
Focus on maturing pipelines and filling variables to improve deployment readiness.
Actively participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to cloud environments.
Maintain and update technical documentation to support ongoing development and deployment processes.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar.
Demonstrated interest in learning and working with Terraform.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in tools and technologies like Kubernetes, Ansible, and Active Directory.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of Nutanix is a plus, but not required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to support development teams and stakeholders.
