Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an SDET/Senior Java Developer.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications based on business and technical requirements
* Build, test, and deploy scalable software solutions while ensuring quality, performance, and reliability
* Develop and execute unit testing and support overall application quality initiatives
* Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and solution development efforts
* Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and support materials
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver technology solutions
* Support production environments by troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements when needed
* Participate in code reviews and promote development standards, best practices, and continuous improvement
* Develop and support API, integration, and messaging solutions across enterprise systems
* Contribute to CI/CD, automation, and DevOps initiatives to improve software delivery processes
* Identify and mitigate technical risks while adhering to security, compliance, and governance standards
* Work within Agile and modern software development methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* Hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software applications
* Strong experience with object-oriented programming and modern application development frameworks
* Experience building and supporting cloud-based and distributed application architectures
* Experience with front-end development technologies and responsive web applications
* Experience with source control, build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
* Experience with testing frameworks, automated testing, and quality assurance practices
* Experience with messaging, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration patterns
* Knowledge of microservices, service-oriented architecture, APIs, and system integrations
* Knowledge of web technologies, application security principles, and modern development standards
* Strong database development skills, including SQL, data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work effectively in Agile environments and collaborate across technical and business teams
* Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor or guide other team members

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
