We are looking for a highly experienced MuleSoft Architect to lead the architecture, design, and governance of enterprise integration solutions. This role is responsible for defining the integration strategy, establishing architectural standards, and ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient APIs and integrations across the organization.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to work closely with business, security, and technology stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy
Define and own the enterprise integration architecture using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Establish and govern API‑led connectivity frameworks (System, Process, Experience layers)
Create integration blueprints, reference architectures, and solution designs
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and technology roadmaps
Solution Design & Delivery Oversight
Lead the design of scalable, reusable, and high‑performance integrations
Review and approve solution designs, APIs, and code developed by delivery teams
Guide teams on best practices for error handling, logging, monitoring, and resiliency
Support complex integration scenarios involving cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid systems
API & Integration Governance
Define standards for API design, versioning, lifecycle management, and documentation
Implement and enforce API security policies (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, rate limiting)
Establish reusable assets and accelerators in Anypoint Exchange
Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and data security requirements
Platform & DevOps Enablement
Oversee MuleSoft platform components including Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, and Monitoring
Guide CI/CD implementation using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
Partner with infrastructure and platform teams on deployment, scaling, and runtime strategies
Support production readiness, performance tuning, and incident resolution
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with business leaders, product owners, architects, and security teams to translate requirements into architectural designs
Lead architectural reviews and provide technical direction across programs
Create and maintain high‑quality architectural documentation and design artifacts
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
15+ years of integration experience, with 10+ years on MuleSoft
Deep expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Strong hands‑on experience with API‑led connectivity
Proficiency in REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Java, and asynchronous messaging
Experience integrating ERP, CRM, data platforms, SaaS, and legacy systems
Strong understanding of security, scalability, performance, and fault tolerance
