Role Purpose: Build and operate a secure, automated Google Cloud engineering platform that enables rapid movement of Gemini/Vertex AI solutions from experimentation into production.
Key Responsibilities
· Build CI/CD and infrastructure automation on Google Cloud Platform for AI applications, APIs, models/configurations, and cloud services.
· Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
· Establish deployment pipelines and environment management across development, test, staging, and production.
· Support deployment and operationalization of applications consuming Vertex AI and Gemini services.
· Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, AI/application observability, and operational dashboards using Google Cloud Platform-native capabilities where appropriate.
· Implement secure identity, secrets/configuration management, IAM, networking, and access patterns in collaboration with security teams.
· Enable automated testing, release management, rollback, and production support.
· Continuously optimize platform reliability, scalability, engineering productivity, and Google Cloud Platform consumption.
Preferred Profile: Strong Google Cloud Platform, CI/CD, Terraform, containers/Kubernetes and observability experience; practical MLOps/LLMOps and Vertex AI deployment experience highly desirable.
