Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in React, .NET Core, Kafka, MongoDB, and Redis to design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native applications. This role will focus on building modern microservices architectures, developing responsive user interfaces, and delivering high-performance distributed systems within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React and .NET Core.
Build and enhance cloud-native microservices that support high-volume, mission-critical business applications.
Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven services utilizing Kafka for asynchronous processing and system integration.
Design and optimize data models using MongoDB and Redis for high-performance, scalable solutions.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver business requirements.
Implement containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Participate in application architecture reviews and contribute to system design decisions.
Create automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure solution quality.
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for rapid and reliable deployments.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Follow secure coding practices and contribute to application resiliency initiatives.

Required Qualifications
10+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and REST API development.
Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience building and supporting microservices-based architectures.
Strong experience with Apache Kafka or other event-streaming technologies.
Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database design.
Experience implementing distributed caching solutions using Redis.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented principles, and API security.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Exposure to event-driven and domain-driven architecture patterns.
Experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or insurance.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
