Position Overview

We''re looking for an experienced Manager, Oracle Cloud EPM Planning to serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for our Oracle Cloud Planning platform. This is a manager-level individual contributor role where you''ll be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, support, and ongoing enhancement of Oracle Cloud EPM Planning while partnering closely with FP&A, Finance, Data Engineering, and IT.

You''ll support enterprise planning processes, configure and enhance Oracle Planning applications, resolve complex production issues, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. You''ll continuously evaluate new Oracle Cloud EPM capabilities and emerging technologies to improve planning processes, reduce manual effort, and help the business make better, data-informed decisions.


Key Responsibilities

Oracle Cloud Planning Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud EPM Planning.
  • Configure and maintain application metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, security, business rules, calculations, forms, dashboards, workflows, and planning models.
  • Support Oracle Planning applications, including Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, Capex, Cash, Projects, Allocations, and custom planning models, as applicable.
  • Manage application performance, user access, platform reliability, and overall system administration.
  • Support Oracle quarterly updates, testing, release management, and ongoing platform maintenance.

Platform Enhancement & Optimization

  • Design and implement enhancements that improve planning processes, reporting, and the overall user experience.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud EPM solutions.
  • Configure business rules, calculations, and integrations that support evolving business needs.
  • Evaluate new Oracle Cloud EPM capabilities and recommend enhancements that improve platform performance and business outcomes.

Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with FP&A, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand planning requirements and deliver effective Oracle Cloud Planning solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on Oracle Cloud Planning capabilities and best practices.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and guidance to encourage adoption and effective platform use.
  • Manage enhancement requests from intake through implementation, communicating priorities and timelines with stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance and Technology teams to identify opportunities where AI and automation can simplify planning processes, improve user experiences, and reduce manual work.

Data & Systems Integration

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and IT teams to support integrations between Oracle Cloud Planning and enterprise data sources.
  • Support and troubleshoot data loads and integrations using Oracle Data Integration, Data Exchange, Oracle ERP/EPM direct connections, and related integration technologies.

 

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

The salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all U.S. locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Final compensation decisions will depend on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate.
