Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, configuration management, containers, Linux/Windows administration, monitoring, security, cloud migration, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Implement configuration management and automation using Ansible.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization using CloudWatch and enterprise observability tools.
• Drive cloud security, compliance, identity management, and governance best practices.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including application and infrastructure transformation.
• Implement and maintain networking, security, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Optimize AWS cloud spend through rightsizing, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and FinOps practices.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues and provide production support.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and support operational and technical requirements.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
• Expertise in AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda.
• Strong experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration experience.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of cloud security, compliance, identity management, and governance.
• Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FinOps and AWS cost optimization.
• Experience with Reserved Instances and Savings Plans.
• Enterprise cloud migration and modernization experience.
• Experience with enterprise observability platforms.
• Strong disaster recovery and business continuity experience.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
