Job Description:
Technical skills: R, Python; Git; JAVA
Background in Finance and/or Economics; mortgage and fixed income data a plus; experience with modeling cash flows; financial engineering experience
Experienced at transforming data and work products into client-impacting deliverables.
Skilled at data collection, analysis and presentation.
Is able to apply structured problem solving to identify root cause and can conduct process mapping to identify critical process steps and non value added activity.
Often participates in presentation of said deliverables.
May direct analysts.
Skills:
1) Excellent planning skills using industry planning applications (i.e. Microsoft Project)
2) Attention to detail
3) Proficiency with the appropriate area of expertise needed for the project
4) Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
5) Ability to resolve technical issues
6) Ability to manage, coordinate and guide a project team
7) Strong issue resolution and risk management skills Education/Work Experience:
1) Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business-related field 4-8 years of related experience in the designated role category
