Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Director Core IT - Enterprise Systems, Supply Chain.

Summary:
We're partnering with a global consumer-facing organization to hire a Director of Core IT to lead and evolve the enterprise systems that power supply chain, wholesale, and operational processes. This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and business execution - ideal for someone who enjoys both leading teams and getting hands-on solving complex system and process challenges.

The Role:
You'll own a portfolio of enterprise platforms supporting order management, integrations, finance operations, and wholesale workflows. These systems are largely SaaS-based, requiring strong integration, process, and operational oversight rather than heavy development. You'll work closely with business stakeholders (especially supply chain and operations) to improve reliability, streamline processes, and drive automation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee core enterprise systems (OMS, EDI, finance/tax, integrations, and related platforms)
* Partner with supply chain and operations teams on order lifecycle, fulfillment, and inventory processes
* Drive improvements in system reliability, data flow, and operational efficiency
* Identify and implement automation opportunities (Power Platform, AI workflows, etc.)
* Act as a key liaison between business teams and global technology groups
* Provide visibility across initiatives (priorities, risks, timelines, dependencies)
* Lead and mentor a small team while contributing hands-on where needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience working with enterprise systems supporting supply chain, wholesale, or operational workflows
* Exposure to OMS, EDI, ERP, WMS, or similar platforms
* Strong understanding of system integrations (APIs, flat files, data flows)
* Ability to troubleshoot issues and work through system/process breakdowns
* Experience leading or mentoring teams in a cross-functional environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have:
* Experience in retail, eCommerce, or other operationally complex environments
* Familiarity with automation tools (Power Platform or similar)
* Exposure to global organizations or shared service models

Why This Role:
* High visibility across business and technology leadership
* Opportunity to shape and improve critical operational systems
* Blend of strategy, execution, and hands-on problem solving
* Stable environment with long-term growth potential

Who This Is For:
* Enjoys solving real operational problems, not just managing from a distance
* Can operate in a lean, evolving environment
* Wants ownership and impact across core business systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
