Network Security Administrator

Description
The Network & Security Administrator will design, implement, and maintain a hybrid network infrastructure that integrates Azure cloud environments with physical switches and routers deployed at four different locations. The Network & Security Administrator works closely under the guidance of engineers to ensure the infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable, using Azure best practices and hybrid networking principles.
Duties include: Hybrid network design, configuration of physical networking equipment, ExpressRoute/VPN implementation, Azure-native security tools deployment, on-prem security systems implementation, hybrid identity support, monitoring and troubleshooting network performance, routine hardware maintenance, applying Well-Architected principles, compliance adherence, collaboration with engineers/admins/DevOps, and maintaining full documentation.

Ability to design, configure, and maintain hybrid networks across four sites
Experience working with Azure cloud networking services
Ability to perform routing, connectivity, and bandwidth troubleshooting
Familiarity with security architecture including both Azure-native and on-premises controls
Hands-on experience with physical networking hardware and SNMP-based monitoring tools
Experience with Azure Identity (Azure AD)
Experience supporting compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001)
Exposure to Well-Architected Framework principles
Experience working in nonprofit environments
Preferred certifications: AZ-900, Azure Network Engineer Associate, CCNA

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $8.00 - $45.00/hr.
