Job Details

Mechanical Design Engineer EIT/PE (Hybrid)
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3-5+ years of experience in the HVAC Systems Design. Successful candidate will possess experience in Commercial, Institutional, and Mission Critical Facilities, national codes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or higher)
  • 3-5 years of experience in the MEP industry
  • EIT certification required; PE license is a plus (or actively pursuing licensure)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines

Preferred:
  • Revit experience
  • Interest in community-centered design

Duties
  • Contribute to the mechanical design process for new construction and renovation projects, with exposure to mission-critical facilities
  • Assist with conceptual designs, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, and energy modeling
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure code compliance, coordination, and constructability
  • Support construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits
  • Help track project quality, schedule, and budget requirements
  • Engage with clients to understand design needs and contribute to solution development
  • Continue building technical and project management skills while working closely with senior engineers
