Citadel Security USA is looking for a dependable Unarmed Security Officer to handle weekend daytime coverage at an active construction location in Perry, Iowa. This position is responsible for helping keep the property secure while construction activity is limited or reduced.
The officer assigned to this site will patrol the grounds, monitor for unauthorized access, and document any unusual situations that may occur. Maintaining awareness of the surrounding area and following established site procedures will be an important part of the role.
Primary Duties - Perform routine patrols throughout the JBS construction property
- Conduct hourly patrol rounds and scan required security checkpoints
- Monitor the site to help protect contractor equipment and materials
- Watch for suspicious activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized individuals
- Notify local law enforcement if illegal activity is observed
- Maintain clear daily activity logs and complete incident reports when required
- Follow all client instructions along with Citadel Security operational procedures
Basic Qualifications - Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to stay alert and focused for the duration of the shift
- Professional communication and basic report-writing ability
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Work Environment - Construction site setting
- Patrol duties may involve regular walking and extended standing
- Work may take place outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Continuous observation of the property and surrounding areas is required
