We're looking for a talented and dynamic contractor to join the Global Incentive Compensation - Systems team to support our team's strategy, growth, and innovation. This position is a part of one of our most innovative teams within the GIC team. You will be responsible for supporting the organization as a whole and being hands on in the development process. You will partner with other development teams in the GIC organization and manage the delivery of changes/updates to the systems and tools used to pay the sales teams.
Essential Functions:
* In this role, you will focus primarily on helping the scrum team deliver on work objects assigned to them.
Business Functional Knowledge:
* Collaborate with business users to define processes that meet business needs.
* Ensure processes are scalable and flexible to meet future business needs.
* Design processes that can be implemented with minimal disruption to supporting systems and are cost effective.
Business Requirements:
* Create business process documents (process guides, templates)
* Coordinate with counterparts in San Francisco, Indianapolis, Toronto, India to manage the development process and resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of products to business stakeholders
Sustaining Operations:
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies and provide relevant and timely updates to counterparts in San Francisco/Indianapolis/Toronto/India
* Serve as a resource to Product Owners to manage product backlog: liaise with counterparts to ensure that there is a healthy backlog that the development team(s) can work on
* Monitor implemented systems and processes to ensure high performance.
* Review processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes as a result of reviewing and gathering metrics, and conducting Agile ceremonies
* Share and learn best practices with peers to increase the effectiveness of the application of agile practices in the organization

* Experience working with IT development staff on software development projects and Agile/Scrum, in particular, facilitating stand ups and retrospectives
* Strong analysis, project management, and reporting capabilities.
* Experience with Xactly or other compensation systems is preferred, but not required.
Education & Experience:
* A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. 3 to 5 years of experience on an Agile team is preferred.
* A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required; Finance or Information Technology is preferred.
