Contract to hire
We are targeting mid-level to senior Data Engineers with Microsoft Fabric experience rather than highly senior Principal-level candidates.
We are open to evaluating both direct-hire and contract-to-hire candidates and expect the final hiring approach may be a combination of both depending on the candidate pool and business needs. Contract-only is not ideal but can be discussed further during the kickoff meeting.
A few important details on the role and expectations:
- Candidates should have recent, hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting production data solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders are important.
- These roles will operate under the guidance of our Data Platform Manager
Required Experience
- Microsoft Fabric
- PySpark
- Data warehousing
- ETL/ELT development
- Data modeling
- Experience working within the Microsoft data platform ecosystem
Preferred Experience
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Power BI
- Experience supporting reporting and analytics environments
- Distribution, manufacturing, or similar business environments

Operational Requirements
- Must be located in the Columbus, Ohio area
