Title: QA Analyst Payroll Testing
Location: REMOTE
* 8+ years of Software QA/Testing experience
* Strong Manual Testing experience (Functional, Smoke, Regression, End-to-End Testing)
* Payroll domain expertise (payroll processing, tax calculations, deductions, benefits, garnishments, gross-to-net calculations)
* Experience creating Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, and Test Reports
* Defect tracking and defect lifecycle management
* Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Experience working with AI-based test automation/script generation tools
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
* Experience collaborating with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
* DevSecOps
* VersionOne or similar Agile tools
* PL/SQL
* Payroll systems implementation/testing
* AI/ML tools (Copilot, WatsonX, Redux, etc.)
* Mainframe exposure
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
* Perform Functional, Smoke, Regression, and End-to-End testing
* Validate payroll calculations, tax rules, deductions, benefits, and payroll workflows
* Document defects, analyze test results, and work with development teams on resolution
* Ensure compliance with SDLC/quality standards and support mission-critical applications
