Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Westlake, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and support enterprise database applications and data-driven solutions
* Build, maintain, and optimize Oracle database objects, including SQL queries, procedures, functions, triggers, and views
* Support production systems by troubleshooting issues, tuning performance, and improving data processing workflows
* Develop and maintain high-volume ETL processes and data integration solutions
* Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
* Create and enhance database models, schemas, and data structures for complex business needs
* Work in Agile teams to deliver quality solutions from requirements through production support
* Use modern development tools, automation, and AI-assisted technologies to improve delivery and efficiency

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience supporting production environments
* 5+ years of experience in financial services or other complex, data-intensive industries
* Strong experience with Oracle databases, complex SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and performance tuning
* Experience designing and supporting ETL processes and large-volume data workflows
* Strong understanding of database modeling, schema design, and financial data structures
* Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and Agile/Scrum delivery teams
* Familiarity with enterprise job scheduling, cloud platforms, and data-platform workloads
* Working knowledge of Java, Python, or similar programming languages is a plus
* Ability to analyze complex data issues and deliver practical, scalable solutions
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
* Ability to work independently, ramp quickly, and support solutions through the full development lifecycle

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
