Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Virtualization

Position Summary

Seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support complex enterprise hosting and virtualization solutions. The role focuses on VMware, Nutanix, automation, infrastructure engineering, cloud hosting, and risk/control management within a highly regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture for complex infrastructure solutions.

• Design, test, implement, and upgrade enterprise infrastructure systems.

• Develop automation and infrastructure solutions using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible.

• Support VMware and Nutanix virtualization and converged/hyper-converged platforms.

• Review cloud security, secrets management, and key rotation solutions.

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and develop long-term remediation plans.

• Drive solutions that improve recovery and platform resiliency.

• Support Agile product teams, roadmap planning, and backlog prioritization.

• Manage risk, controls, policies, procedures, and operational standards.

• Mentor engineers and collaborate with geographically distributed teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering/Solutions experience.

• 5+ years of Distributed Infrastructure or related IT Infrastructure experience.

• 5+ years working with virtualization, server infrastructure, converged/hyper-converged hosting.

• Strong VMware experience.

• Experience with enterprise infrastructure design and implementation.
