As a Senior Associate, Product Manager in Connected Commerce on the Wallet and Lending Innovation organization, you will help conceptualize the next generation of payment platforms, drive innovative thinking, and support the creation of seamless customer experiences that become the foundation of Chase digital payments and commerce experiences. We re looking for someone who is customer obsessed, passionate about technology, and thrives in complex environments. You will support the vision and roadmap, contribute to the product development lifecycle, monitor platform performance, and help scale payments platforms to millions of customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the definition and management of the roadmap for the product line; contribute to the vision and strategy for the product/platform.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver technical products, including APIs, data models, and data processing pipelines.
- Write clear and detailed product requirements and user stories, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Partner closely with Technology, Design, and Analytics teams to support product development efforts and ensure alignment across functions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of robust Settlement and Reconciliation platforms, services, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy and reliability in payment processing and reporting.
- Assist with product backlog creation and grooming, support agile product delivery, launch and go to market for product, production support, issue & defect resolution, and prioritization.
- Navigate and execute within a large, complex organization working through ambiguity, structuring problems, and driving alignment across multiple teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, risk, controls, legal, and compliance teams; facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor against goals, help identify and scope implementation paths for needed enhancements, and support remediation plans when needed.
- Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical products (APIs, databases, data processing, or similar).
- Experience in the financial technology or payments industry, with a strong understanding of payment flows, digital wallets, and money movement.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in large, highly matrixed organizations; comfortable navigating ambiguity and structuring complex problems.
- Proven collaborator with strong stakeholder management skills; able to influence and align cross-functional teams with diverse perspectives.
- Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to help build scalable platforms.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
- Experience with risk and controls management.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable field of study.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Candidates with Fintech background or payment platform experience preferred.
- Experience supporting the build and scale of Settlement and Reconciliation platforms, services, and data pipelines within payments or financial services environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in supporting solutions that ensure accurate transaction settlement, reconciliation, and reporting across complex payment ecosystems.

As a Senior Product Associate in Lending Innovation you are an integral part of the team that creates new innovative lending product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations end-to-end.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define the vision and strategy for product initiatives and features
- Manage discovery efforts and research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Prioritizes and sequences across many teams and work streams
- Partner closely with Technology, Design, and Analytics teams to lead product development efforts
- Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment (e.g., Legal, Risk, Compliance, & Controls)
- Define features and communicate requirements to engineering in clearly written documentation
- Monitor against goals, identify and scope implementation paths for needed enhancements, and create remediation plans when needed
- Manage executive stakeholder relationships and regularly communicate updates on the product strategy, progress and performance
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in product management or a relevant domain area
- Familiar with Fraud, Operations, or Risk for financial products
- Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies
- Ability to lead discovery and creation of Requirements and Design
- Ability to think strategically while still being comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
- Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing and driving decisions
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Experience in Financial Services and consumer lending products
- Experience with Lending products and/or servicing these products
- Bachelor s Degree
