Summary

Software Resources has an immediate, contract job opportunity for a Technical Safety Project Manager – World Safety Assurance (WSA) with a major corporation in Lake Buena Vista, FL. 4 days per week on-site, Fridays remote.

Must haves:
1. Must have experience with install of cameras/server installation/ commissioning networks /construction and/or security network - a combination of network and security background
2. Knowledge of how camera systems connect to network and how to technically speak with the engineers and operations in such
3. Highly organized is a must- will be training and driving milestones
4. Passport is needed- may include international travel to international sites - not frequent but will definitely come up in tenure of project
5. Note - as this team also works with international (Paris/Shanghai) hours may vary. There will also be a need to work an occasional 3rd shift which is like 10pm - 2am in parks after hours to test- if this occurs shifts will be flexible- must be flexible for this role
6. Jira is a must have and must be expert in
7. Airtable must have
8. This is an agile/waterfall team - works in both environments as they deal with safety and depending on could pivot.
9. Installation of Wi-Fi/TV Cameras is a big plus.


Role Overview:
Senior technical specialist on the Safety Watch team supporting video AI/computer-vision systems that alert cast members in real time. Supports ~10 domestic attractions plus additional international sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission and integrate camera systems and servers into networks.
  • Work with engineers and operations to ensure camera/system connectivity and reliability.
  • Drive installation milestones and perform hands-on field work and testing (including after-hours testing).
  • Operate within both Agile and Waterfall processes depending on the workstream.

This position is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle of integrated hardware and software systems, ensuring successful delivery from initial planning and requirements gathering through installation, testing, operational handoff, and long-term sustainment.

The Project Manager – World Safety Assurance (WSA)- Technical serves as the primary liaison between technical teams, operations, engineering partners, vendors, and executive leadership, coordinating multiple concurrent project streams while maintaining aggressive schedules, quality standards, and operational continuity. This role requires a strong blend of technical fluency, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and program leadership.

  • Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and resource coordination to ensure successful execution.
  • Conduct site-specific technical requirements gathering, infrastructure assessments, and deployment planning activities.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Manage third-party vendors, contractors, and technical partners during installation, commissioning, and support activities.
  • Facilitate technical meetings, stakeholder reviews, and executive presentations, translating complex technical information into clear project updates.
  • Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans to validate system functionality, reliability, and operational readiness.
  • Develop and maintain deployment dashboards, status reports, and project documentation to support program visibility and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define product features, implementation priorities, and deployment strategies.
  • Support long-term operational sustainability through training coordination, documentation development, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Identify project risks, technical challenges, and potential bottlenecks proactively while implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Support deployment activities during non-standard business hours, including overnight work and international coordination calls when required.
  • Ensure sensitive operational and infrastructure information is handled with discretion and in accordance with company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including technical debt reduction, scalability enhancements, and process optimization.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or technology deployment leadership.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects within fast-paced operational environments.
  • Experience coordinating hardware and software deployment initiatives across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of integrated technology systems, including CCTV/surveillance systems, AV systems, industrial or ride control systems, and network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with computer vision technologies, edge computing environments, and AI-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure concepts including POE, VLANs, bandwidth management, and high-resolution video transmission.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors, contractors, and external technical partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical teams and executive leadership effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems strategically, and drive project decisions.
  • Experience facilitating technical reviews, status meetings, and executive briefings.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience deploying AI, computer vision, or advanced analytics technologies within real-world operational environments.
  • Experience working within themed entertainment, attractions, manufacturing, industrial automation, or other large-scale operational industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product ownership responsibilities.
  • Experience collaborating with software engineering teams on feature planning and implementation roadmaps.
  • PMP, CAPM, CSM, or CSPO SCRUM Master certification preferred.
  • Experience with technical debt reduction initiatives, scalability planning, and system optimization efforts.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure planning for high-availability systems and enterprise technology deployments.
  • Strong leadership presence with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across organizations.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor''''s Degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
