Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET (4.6+ and .NET Core), C#, RESTful services, MS SQL Server, and Python and a proven ability to design, develop, and support enterprise applications and APIs. Candidates must be able to collaborate with distributed technical and business partners across North Carolina, New Jersey, Singapore, India, and London. Start date is ASAP. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and support applications in .NET 4.6+ and .NET Core using C#.
- Build and maintain REST and SOAP web services and APIs with clear documentation.
- Develop database objects, queries, and integrations using MS SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
- Create scripts and tooling in Python to support application and data workflows.
- Implement and maintain job scheduling using Autosys or similar tools.
- Deliver web UIs using ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Collaborate with distributed teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Use Git and Bitbucket for version control and CI workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP) and API design and documentation.
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
- Experience with Git and Bitbucket for source control.
- Experience with Autosys or similar job schedulers.
- Strong development skills in .NET Framework 4.5+ / .NET Core using C#.
- Python development for automation and services integration.
- Experience building REST Web APIs.
- Front-end skills with Angular and JavaScript, and back-end web development with ASP.NET MVC.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem analysis, resolution skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-location collaboration.
- Ability to work well in a team and operate independently as needed.
- Mindset for innovation and continuous improvement in tools and processes.
