Job Title: Snowflake Architect
Location: Mount Juliet, TN (Onsite – Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect with strong expertise in data engineering, Snowflake architecture, and BI solutions. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable, high-performance data platforms and analytics solutions.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (architecture, design, optimization)
- Expertise in Power BI (dashboards, semantic models, DAX)
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing concepts
- Experience with Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
- Hands-on with Snowflake features: Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning
- Strong knowledge of micro-partitioning, clustering, query optimization
- Experience in performance tuning & cost optimization
- Expertise in data governance, RBAC, masking, row-level security
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex / AI capabilities
- Familiarity with Snowpark & Snowflake Native Apps
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations, vector search, unstructured data
- Strong SQL & Python skills
- Experience with Azure Data Factory / cloud ecosystems
Responsibilities:
- Design scalable Snowflake data architecture
- Build and optimize data pipelines and ELT processes
- Develop analytics-ready data models
- Implement data governance and security best practices
- Optimize performance and manage cost efficiency
- Collaborate with business teams to deliver actionable insights
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI-driven data applications
- Exposure to Snowflake app framework (Snowflake Native Apps / Snowflake UI)
