Java Full Stack Developer AWS, Kafka & Dynatrace

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java 8, AWS, Kafka, and Dynatrace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting scalable enterprise applications using modern Java and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java 8 and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop event-driven applications using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and message processing.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS cloud services.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
• Implement application monitoring, observability, and performance analysis using Dynatrace.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze application performance, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Optimize application performance, database queries, APIs, and Kafka-based integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the complete SDLC.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployments.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs.
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Dynatrace for application monitoring, observability, and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong front-end development experience with React or Angular.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
